CEO MESSAGE

Science is for bettering humanity.

ACSL takes its roots from the Nonami laboratory at Chiba University, which had been researching and developing full autonomous drones since 1998.
Beginning from basic research, the first successful fully autonomous multicopter flight in Japan was achieved by the Nonami laboratory in August 2001. This was a global leading achievement.
To better contribute unique and world-leading autonomous control technologies for industrial use, we established “Autonomous Control Systems Laboratory Ltd. (ACSL)” on November 1st, 2013. Drones are now being recognized as important tools for delivery, aerial photography, inspections and hazard monitoring applications, and the market is expected to grow rapidly over the coming years.
ACSL will continue to innovate and to grow this new industry through drones that think and fly all by themselves.
