• ACSL signed MOU on April 28, 2025, with Estonia based Threod Systems AS and Sakai town, Ibaraki prefecture for promotion and potential introduction of Threod’s products to Japan market.

ACSL Ltd. (ACSL) hereby announces that on April 28, 2025, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Estonia based Threod Systems AS (Threod) and Sakai Town, Ibaraki prefecture (Sakai) for promotion and potential introduction of Threod’s VTOL fixed-wing drone “Eos C VTOL UAS” and other products to Japan market.

■Reason and Details of the MOU
ACSL and Sakai entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement on March 24, 2025 to resolve local issues and revitalize the local community*. Based on this agreement, specific initiatives leveraging drones such as delivery, crime prevention and monitoring, and inspection are proceeding with the aim of using Sakai as a demonstration site to create a model that can be horizontally deployed throughout Japan and promote regional development.
Estonia based Threod develops and manufactures mainly VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) fixed-wing drones, and its main product is “Eos C VTOL UAS”. Fixed-wing drones can fly longer distances and for longer periods of time than rotary-wing drones. ACSL and Sakai visited Threod’s demonstration and confirmed its usefulness and that fixed-wing drone can be leveraged for the above initiatives, which led us to enter into the MOU.
ACSL will cooperate in marketing activities and demonstrations of Threod products in Japan and will introduce the products in various sectors such as agriculture, disaster management, and surveillance. In addition, with the cooperation of Sakai, the parties will identify the needs of the local community for drone applications and improve the products.

ACSL will cooperate with Threod and Sakai to promote the social implementation of drone technology.
