In order to enhance ACSL group’s research and development capabilities and support our strategic expansion across Japan and the United States, we are pleased to announce the establishment of a new R&D leadership structure.
To date, ACSL group have maintained a firm commitment to long-term growth by strategically allocating R&D investments. These efforts have included the development of application-specific drones, the establishment of scalable production systems, and the continuous enhancement of core platform technologies. As we further accelerate our global expansion—particularly in the U.S. market—we recognize the increasing importance of aligning product development with local regulatory requirements and customer needs, strengthening engagement with prospective clients, and establishing robust post-sales support infrastructure.
As part of this enhanced structure, Yasuki Ikeuchi has been appointed Executive Officer and Head of the R&D Unit. In this role, he will assume responsibility for company-wide decision-making related to product development strategy, budget planning, and the oversight of organizational and resource management. He will also play a central role in the Japanese market, leading technical communication with customers, engaging in in-depth discussions, identifying development opportunities, and steering corresponding R&D initiatives.
Concurrently, our Global CTO, Chris Raabe —based in the United States—will continue to lead technical engagements with U.S. customers, gather market-driven development insights, and provide strategic feedback to the R&D Unit. Chris also serves as Board Director of ACSL Inc. (U.S. subsidiary), where he is responsible for executing local business strategies and driving regional growth initiatives.
With the new structure, they will lead the formulation of a unified product vision that reflects the needs and perspectives of both the Japanese and U.S. markets through close cross-border collaboration.
We believe this enhanced organizational framework represents the optimal structure to support our growth ambitions in both key markets and to accelerate globally integrated product development. We remain committed to proactive and strategic R&D investments as a cornerstone of our long-term value creation and competitive differentiation.
