The World Customs Organization (hereinafter referred to as WCO) is an international organization established in 1952 to contribute to the development of international trade by harmonizing and unifying customs systems of various countries and promoting international cooperation.
The Universal Postal Union (hereinafter referred to as UPU), with 192 member countries, is a specialized agency of the United Nations whose purpose is to promote communication among peoples through the effective operation of postal services and to contribute to international cooperation in the cultural, social and economic fields.
The conference was held to further strengthen cooperation between the new WCO-UPU cooperation agreement signed in May 2022, and brought together stakeholders from around the world.

In January 2023, ACSL announced that it was the first drone-related company in the world to join the Universal Postal Union Consultative Committee* and has since hosted a reception for the Postal Operations Committee*.
We were able to showcase ACSL’s drones at a conference that brought together WCO and UPU officials and introduce the use of drones in postal and logistics services to officials from more than 30 countries.
The visitors from various countries were interested in drones and they also asked many questions about the prospects for commercialization, flight range, and other specifications.

ACSL will continue to contribute to the resolution of common issues, such as the use of drones for last mile delivery, by leveraging its technology and experience through its activists in the UPU.
